Dr. Marvin Olasky, host of the
Newsmaker Interview Series


The final round of Newsmakers Interviews with Marvin Olasky for spring semester comes to PHC on February 24-28.  The week will feature two distinguished luminaries in the realm of international evangelism, Luis Palau and Dr. David Jeremiah, who will discuss new books, the state of global Christianity and the future of international evangelism. Reggie Littlejohn

On February 24 at 12:40, Reggie Littlejohn will be speaking on “forming a left-right human rights coalition.” Reggie Littlejohn is the founder and president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, an international coalition to expose and oppose forced abortion, gendercide, and sexual slavery in China. Women’s Rights Without Frontiers seeks to form a left-right, human rights and humanitarian coalition to end forced abortion and gendercide. An acclaimed international expert on China’s One Child Policy, Reggie has testified six times at the United States Congress, three times at the European Parliament, and she has presented at the British, Irish, and Canadian parliaments.


Luis Palau

International evangelist Luis Palau, and his sons Kevin and Andrew, speaks with Mr. Olasky on February 25 at 12:20 on the future of international evangelism. Palau and his ministry have shared the Gospel with more than 1 billion people through evangelistic events and media. He has spoken in person to 30 million people in 75 countries with more than 1 million registered decisions for Jesus Christ. He has authored close to 50 books, contributed articles on issues of faith to countless publications, and counseled business leaders, political leaders, and heads of state around the world.   




David Jeremiah

Author, radio broadcaster, and mega-church pastor David Jeremiah arrives on campus February 26 at 12:40 to speak about the future of international evangelism. The founder of Turning Point Radio and Television Ministries, Jeremiah is senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in San Diego. He is a sought-after conference speaker for organizations around the coun-try. Turning Point's 30-minute radio program is heard on more than 2,500 stations world-wide.  Dr. Jeremiah frequently speaks at Cedarville College, Dallas Theological Seminary, Moody Bible Institute, Billy Graham Training Center, Phil Waldrep’s Senior Adult Celebrations and numerous NFL, NBA and Baseball chapels.


Natasha Srdoc & Joel Anand Samy

Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, heads of the Adriatic Institute for Public Policy, will be speaking on February 27 at 12:20. The topic of their speech is “What we should know about the Balkans, 100 years after the assassination that touched off World War I.”  Srdoc and Anand Samy co-founded and currently co-chair the International Leaders Summit - a unique platform bringing together reformers, free market proponents, and entrepreneurs to advance pro-growth reform initiatives and principled solutions. Through their vision, the International Leaders Sum-mit, a transatlantic initiative which focuses on building synergy in advancing pro-growth policies and strengthening security, has held six annual events. They also co-authored a book for Croatia and southeast Europe titled Flat Tax - The Case for Tax Reform.




Cynthia Wenz

On February 28 at 12:40, Cynthia Wenz will be speaking on “Putting Planned Parenthood out of business.” Wenz is President and CEO for The Source For Women, a pregnancy medical clinic that helps embrace, equip and empower abortion-vulnerable women to make healthy choices. The Source for Women has been operating for 30 years, and has three locations in Houston, Texas. Wenz had completed her third abortion, when she learned that she had been carrying twins and one of them was an abortion survivor. She turned to The Source for Women for help and emotional support, and now, eight years after walking in as a client, she is President and CEO. She now is the mother of three boys.
