On Wednesday and Thursday evening of next week, Patrick Henry will be hosting a two-part lecture series on C.S. Lewis, given by C.S Lewis scholar Mr. Kim Gilnett. Mr. Gilnett has spent over thirty years studying Lewis, has personally helped to restore his home, the Kilns, lectures at Cambridge, hosts summer seminars, and conducts tours of the Kilns.  We also have the honor of hearing him speak in our corporate chapel on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday, the 20th, Mr. Gilnett will be speaking on "The Man and the Message," detailing the life of C.S. Lewis, his conversion to Christianity, and personal anecdotes and insights from those who knew him. On Thursday, the 21st, Mr. Gilnett will be speaking on the "Man of Letters," discussing Lewis's extensive personal correspondence, including one letter addressed to him by a 12 year-old homeschooler, which in the long run has resulted in this lectureship coming to PHC.

If you're a C.S. Lewis fan, I encourage you to attend one or both of the lectures!  The event is open to the public. Please RSVP to mark.smith@datamarksystems.com.

We hope to see you there! The events will be held in PHC's Town Hall from 7:00-8:30pm. Click on the flyer below for more information.
