School is winding down for PHC students as they take finals and finish writing papers. In the midst of last minute studying, students have not forgotten to enjoy their last week at school. Last Wednesday welcomed the first reading day and a favorite student tradition: the Harmonicomedy. Students gathered for a few hours to watch musical and comedic performances from their classmates.

Thursday saw the debut of PHC’s first “puppy day.” A Forever Home, a rescue foundation located outside of DC, brought six puppies and four full-grown dogs to campus for two hours. Students played and spent time with dogs in an effort to relieve some end-of-the-year stress.

Literature Professor Dr. Steven Hake arranged the first-ever "Dinner Theatre" performances in the Dining Commons, featuring the three best recitations from sections two and three of Western Lit I this past semester.

The class of 2013 sponsored a faculty appreciation dessert on Friday to thank staff and faculty for their dedication and service. The class provided dessert and garden-themed decorations along with a touching ceremony. Please enjoy the photo gallery of these end-of-semester activities.
