Mr. Rodney Showalter has over twelve years of experience in higher education, including positions in student services, academic administration, curriculum design, and institutional research.  He currently serves as the College's Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness & Planning, directing the research and assessment processes that support institutional planning, policy development, and accreditation. 

He has presented at national conferences such as the annual meetings of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS), the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges & Schools (TRACS), and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (AACRAO), on topics related to academic quality, institutional and student learning assessment, and the portability of credit. Mr. Showalter is also a published author in College & University.
