Professor Showalter teaches Wisdom and Eloquence Portfolio at PHC. He has ten years of experience in higher education in positions related to student development, academic administration, and institutional research. Mr. Showalter currently serves as PHC's Director of Institutional Research & Records, as well as the College Registrar.
Mr. Showalter has presented at national conferences such as the annual meetings of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS), the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges & Schools (TRACS), and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (AACRAO), on topics related to academic quality, institutional assessment, and the portability of credit. Mr. Showalter is also a published author in College & University. He lives with his wife Dorothy in Loudoun County, Virginia.
