Time at PHC: 2008 to present

Dr. Bayer has taught in the Foundation Year Programme at the University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. More recently, she has taught as an adjunct at Saint Mary’s College, Leavenworth, Kansas, in the Washington Program of Pepperdine University, and in the Philosophy Department at George Mason University.

Dr. Bayer’s published articles include "Abortion and Evil" and "George Parkin Grant on the Unthought Ontology of Abortion."  She has presented conference papers on such topics as "Philosophical Darkness and Human Freedom," "Saint Ambrose and the Idea of Liberty," and "Leo Strauss and Radical Orthodoxy." She is a fully ranked faculty member with a reduced load because she continues to homeschool her children. She is also edits Mandate, the journal of the Prayer Book Society of the United States.
