The new coffee lounge, just off of the Grand Lobby, features original artwork, beautiful furnishings, and a pleasant ambiance to rival any commercial coffee chain. A raised stage provides a location for informal or formal performances, which can be scheduled through the Office of Student Life.

The Coffee Lounge celebrated its grand opening on the Wednesday of Homecoming Week 2009, October 7, with a special dedication ceremony conducted by PHC President Dr. Graham Walker. Approximately 200 students showed up for prayer, hot coffee drinks, and soft guitar music. The student cafe, modeled after a Parisian bistro, is yet another among a host of new amenities students will enjoy at the Barbara Hodel Center.
