Every year, Patrick Henry College celebrates its alumni with Homecoming Weekend — a chance to enjoy soccer home games with the PHC Sentinels, execute the traditional alumni/student football match, and host a meeting of the PHC Alumni Association.

In the week leading up to Homecoming, the current student body puts together its own special celebration, with the different classes, freshmen through seniors, competing against each other in a lighthearted bid for supremacy. Different activities, silly and serious, dot the week.

Wednesday, October 3

7:30pm - 8:30pm — Student kick-off party

8:45pm — Campus-wide Manhunt

Thursday, October 4

All day — Students can pick up homecoming t-shirts

12:20pm - 1:20pm —  PHC's Dr. Marvin Olasky will continue his October Newsmaker Interview series with a live interview with Joni Eareckson Tada, world-renown evangelical author, artist, speaker, and advocate for disabled people. 7:00pm - 9:00pm — Student dodgeball tournament

Friday, October 5 

All day — Student School Spirit Day (wear PHC apparel)

8:00am - 5:00pm — Alumni Class Visits

10:20am - 11:20am — Alumni Chapel (speaker TBD)

11:30am - 2:00pm — Dining Hall open for lunch ($5 for alumni)

4:00pm - 7:30pm — Alumni-Student Roundtables: Come be part of a lively exchange, as students share what life and academics at PHC are like today, and alumni share about professional life in various industries after graduation.  An organized opportunity to meet and network with new friends! Saturday, October 6

All day — Student Costume Competition Day

9:00am – 9:30am — Alumni Reception: Catch up with friends and meet select staff and faculty

9:30am – 10:00am —  Report to the Alumni: Dr. Walker will briefly address the alumni about the college and will be available to take questions

11:00am – 12:00pm — Student Tug-o-war competition

10:00am – 12:00pm — Annual Alumni Association Business Meeting

12:00pm – 2:00pm — Alumni luncheon including a panel discussion with representatives of the college's admissions and advancement (formerly development) departments

2:00pm – 4:00pm —  Picnic Reception for the Class of 2002’s 10-year Anniversary

3:00pm - 5:00pm — PHC Women's Soccer Game (vs. Frederick Community College)
