What does a typical day look like?
Patrick Henry College’s Teen Camps are fast paced and full of opportunities to learn and have fun. Although there are a variety of camp options, the following schedule is a sample program of an ordinary day at camp to give you some idea of what it is like to attend a PHC Teen Camp. Schedules vary significantly depending on the camp. Camps like drama, music, Strategic Intelligence, and debate necessarily diverge from the schedule to fit the needs of the respective programs.
7:30am Breakfast & Morning Devotional
8:30am Introductory Lecture by camp coordinator
10-11am Lecture: Camp Coordinator
11:15-12am Lecture: Guest Lecturer
1-3pm Group Activities: break-out sessions, scenario briefings, special guest lecturers etc.
3-5pm Free Time/Supervised Rec. Activities
6pm Evening Activities (the classic Teen Camp Challenge Course, missions, counselor hunt, etc.)
11pm Lights Out!
This is, of course, just an ordinary day. Various Teen Camps have special camp-specific activities (like the Moot Court tournament, drama and music productions, and intelligence missions) and most include a field-trip. Come prepared to experience an action-packed summer with us through the PHC summer programs.
