Emmery - Counselor

Emmery is a junior general government major. While at PHC, she has participated in mock trial and has been on the homecoming committee. She is currently interning in DC as a policy researcher with Congressman Cramer. She grew up in North Dakota, the daughter of a grain farmer and sister to nine other siblings. Her love for country music stems from a life of tractor driving, hunting, and caring for animals. She dreams of one day reforming America’s agricultural system.

Emmery absolutely loves to laugh. She also has a fondness for baking items like breads and cookies. One of her favorite pastimes is listening to Rush Limbaugh while driving a tractor. She also enjoys running.

While this is Emmery’s first year as a PHC teen camp counselor, she has staffed encampments for Civil Air Patrol and spent the last four years staffing at a Bible camp. She can’t wait to get to know the campers this summer.
