Professor of Government—American Politics
Patrick Henry College seeks a professor of government (rank negotiable) to begin in the fall of 2025. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and research and possess a strong biblical worldview that aligns with historic orthodox Christian teachings. The ideal candidate will have an earned Ph.D. in Government or Political Science with the ability to provide leadership to PHC’s vibrant American Politics and Policy program and teach a variety of courses in American Politics including Congress, Presidency, Campaigns and Elections, Public Policy, and State and Local Government. Candidates should be evangelical Christians, in full agreement with the College’s Statement of Faith and Biblical Foundations Statement, and supportive of the College’s Mission, Vision, and Educational Philosophy.

Professor of Policy Debate

Patrick Henry College seeks an adjunct Professor of Policy Debate to teach a course on Forensics and coach PHC’s Policy Debate team. The class meets once a week and coaching includes several In-House & Travel Tournaments that require occasional weekend and travel commitments. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and possess a strong biblical worldview. The ideal candidate will have an earned advanced degree in Law, Government, or Communications with previous experience in debate competitions. PHC is recognized as one of the top forensics programs in the nation.

Professor of Physics

Professor of Spanish

Patrick Henry College, a Christian liberal arts institution in Purcellville, VA., is recruiting an adjunct professor to teach beginning and intermediate Spanish (I and III fall semester, II and IV spring semester; all sections are held TR nights from 6 pm – 9:15 pm).

Qualifications: M.A. or Ph.D. in Spanish.  Significant teaching experience is preferred; candidates should be committed to excellence in language instruction.  

Candidates should be evangelical Christians, in full agreement with the College’s Statement of Faith and Biblical Foundations Statement, and supportive of the College’s Mission, Vision, and Educational Philosophy.

Candidates must work well in an academically rigorous environment with highly motivated students. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a classical liberal arts institution.
