"With degrees from Penn State University and Liberty University, Carl enjoyed a long career in higher education finance administration as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). This included eight years at Penn State (1971-1979), eight years at Liberty University where he rose to the position of Vice President for Finance and Budget (1979-1987), 23 years as Vice President of Finance and Technology at Biola University (1987-2010), and seven years as Executive Vice President of Finance at Patrick Henry College (2010-2017). He and his wife retired to Gilbert, AZ in 2018. During his career, he had contacts with dignitaries, presidential candidates, well known journalists, and he provided security for these visiting dignitaries. In the 1980s, he was elected to a term as treasurer for Campbell County, VA."
Carl will be greatly missed by his friends at PHC.
