Cory Gibbons
Major: History. In fact, my senior thesis combines two of my passions, ancient mythology and Star Trek!
Hometown: Birch Run, Michigan
Plans after graduation: I’ll be attending a 12-week Bible study program at Tauernhof, a nondenominational school in the Swiss Alps. Eventually, I'd like to be a history professor.
What’s one thing you want people to know about Patrick Henry College? Our PHC professors are genuinely interested in you as a person. They're very much training your brain to think.
Andrew Shepherd
Major: Strategic Intelligence.
Hometown: Upland, Indiana.
Plans after graduation: I’ll be getting my master’s from Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security, which is in Washington, D.C.
What’s one thing you want people to know about Patrick Henry College? PHC offers a ton of super fun things to be a part of beyond the classes! Being on the basketball team has been my favorite, for sure.
Sarah Jacob
Major: Strategic Intelligence
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY
Plans after graduation: I’ve interned with the Department of Homeland Security for the past two years and will take a position with them after graduation.
What’s one thing you want people to know about Patrick Henry College? You will not only find friends, but a family. My friends always say that we may not like each other sometimes, but we will always love each other. I think a lot of us have found that here.
Harvest Prude
Major: Classical Liberal Arts Journalism
Hometown: Paducah, Kentucky
Plans after graduation: I'm going to intern for WORLD Magazine this summer and see where it takes me. I'm interested in journalism or the publishing field (in fact, I just finished up an internship with The Good Book Company, a Christian publishing company, so that was really cool!).
What’s one thing you want people to know about Patrick Henry College? The community at PHC is absolutely amazing. The longer I've been here, the richer and sweeter friendships and relationships have been. The best friendships have been the ones that encourage me in my walk with Jesus and help me grow in love for Him, and there are so many people here who have a heart for that kind of community.
Mark Van Matre
Major: History major with a Classics minor.
Hometown: Erie, Pennsylvania.
Plans after graduation: I will likely be attending the University of California, Los Angeles this fall for a graduate program in the Classics.
What’s one thing you want people to know about Patrick Henry College? PHC teaches students to think broadly and deeply, so that can they apply their degrees to diverse, yet specific, areas of research.
Meridian Paulton
Major: American Politics & Policy
Hometown: Colorado Springs, CO

What’s one thing you want people to know about Patrick Henry College? PHC will not only give you a set of skills that you can carry into the workforce, but it will provide you a network of people who will support you every step along the way toward that career.
Matthew Hoke
Major: American Politics & Policy
Hometown: Abbottstown, PA
Plans after graduation: I'll be interning with the Senate Finance Committee's Oversight and Investigations Unit for the summer and then starting at the University of Virginia Law School in the fall.
What’s one thing you want people to know about Patrick Henry College? The best part about PHC is our amazing professors. We are so blessed to have such godly, caring, and brilliant individuals who are excellent teachers and mentors. I personally have been blessed by the positive impact many of them have had on me, both spiritually and academically, during my four years here.
