Patrick Henry College teams competed with courage, skill, and determination at the AMCA Moot Court National Championship this past weekend, achieving notable results in the process. Congratulations to all eight teams on advancing to the single-elimination rounds on Saturday—a remarkable achievement.
Final results are as follows:
3rd Place – Hope Turner and Calvin Huh
5th Place – Isaac Bock and James Dunning (lost in Quarters to Turner/Huh)
Sweet 16 – Lauren Rule and Caleb Knox
Round of 32 – Anna Fox and Luke Argue
Four teams advanced to the Round of 60:
David Bainbridge and Benjamin Crosby
Everett Chew and Cana Cossin
Hope Rawlson and Adam Rauhauser
Isaac Winnes and Tyler Dunning (lost to Bock/J. Dunning)
Four students finished in the top 20 in the Individual Orator category:
11th Place – Hope Turner
13th Place (tied) – Calvin Huh
15th Place (tied) – Caleb Knox
17th Place – Hope Rawlson
Finally, three PHC teams won awards for brief writing, all on Respondent:
3rd Place – Isaac Bock and James Dunning
5th Place – Everett Chew and Cana Cossin
9th Place – Simon Sefzik and Tyler Dunning
