Patrick Henry College is hosting the VA Qualifier NCFCA tournament January 11-13 and we need the help of community volunteers to help us judge!
No experience is needed! Please visit our judge registration page to see the schedule of rounds available and choose one or more that works for you. You will need to create an account to register to judge. You can also find this event on the NCFCA dashboard page under “All Events” and “Purcellville, VA Qualifier.”
Judging one round requires a commitment of approximately an hour or so. Your experience will include a brief training video, watching and listening to the students assigned to your room, filling out ballots to rank the competitors, and offering any feedback you have on their performance.
Once you have signed up to judge, you will be sent the links for the judge training prior to the tournament. If you would like to see some of the judge training info before the video links are sent, they are available at https://ncfca.org/debate-judge-quick-start/ for debate and https://ncfca.org/speech-judge-quick-start/ for speech.
Consider being a blessing to these amazing students and be blessed and encouraged as you do. Your participation communicates to families and students that we are invested in them and want them here, and NCFCA would love to have you join in their mission to train students to communicate truth with integrity and grace.
See the schedule and sign up for your rounds here.
