PHC Founder and Chancellor Emeritus Dr. Michael Farris recently attended the first meeting of the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, hosted by Attorney General Pamela Bondi. Farris spoke on behalf of his church,  Cornerstone Chapel, and discussed bias against conservative Christians in the federal government. High-ranking officials in attendance included FBI Director Kash Patel, Secretary of State Marco Rubio,  Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,  and many others.

Farris wrote on Facebook,  "I was invited to attend a meeting at the United States Department of Justice. I knew that the subject matter was religious discrimination." He expected a "small, informal meeting," but he was surprised to see "nearly half the President's cabinet" there.

He was one of three witnesses to testify. The other two witnesses were Dr. Scott Hicks, the Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Liberty University, and Phil Mendes, a Navy Seal.Connect with PHC and become a supporter!

Farris testified on behalf of his pastor, Gary Hamrick, and detailed the IRS investigation and charges brought against Cornerstone Chapel,  where Farris serves as an elder.

Farris described the meeting as deeply encouraging for believers:

"I have chaired meetings in the past where the top Christian litigators shared our most outrageous cases and where we were making plans to fight back. Today’s meeting had that same spirit but with one major difference. These people actually run our government and were swiftly taking the kind of action that, for a long time, Christians have believed was demanded by justice. I was amazed and encouraged deeply in my soul.”
