The memorial scholarship is awarded to memorialize and honor the lives of Garnett FauntLeRoy and Braxton Harrison Tabb, Jr., whose example of enthusiastic service to the Lord by active participation in church events and organizations, civic and patriotic groups, and daily life were an inspiration to many. May the recipients of this scholarship use their education in useful service to further Christ's witness and protect Liberty.
It is the donor's intent that this scholarship shall be awarded according to the following preferred criteria:
1. Is an incoming Patrick Henry College student
2. Has demonstrated evidence of financial need
3. Has lived in Virginia for a minimum of two years before entering the college
4. Will maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in every semester except for reasons of health or other good reason as approved by the Dean of Students
Annual Award: $4,000; Renewable up to 4 years
