Theology and the Bible

Program Structure

Building on the foundation of PHC’s exceptional 63-credit classical core, TTB students will take:

• • 18 credits of major required courses comprising an historical theology sequence, a biblical theology sequence, apologetics, and systematic theology.

  • 18 credits of major electives in the fields of Biblical Studies, Ministry, Philosophy, and Law & Politics, allowing students to tailor their degrees to fit their vocational aspirations.

  • 3 credits of required internship that will provide practical ministry experience in churches, non-profits, and Christian organizations.

  • 9 credits of apprenticeship electives that can be used to complete additional internships, participate in PHC’s nation-leading forensics teams, pursue research projects including a senior thesis, and more.

  • 12 credits of open electives, which can be used to fulfill language requirements (students will have the opportunity to learn the biblical languages with a proficiency rivaling or surpassing that gained in seminary).
